Abstract
The review process is the centerpiece of academic publication journey. Yet, many struggle to convince the editors and the reviewers of the relevancy and importance of their manuscripts. The Seminar invites Professor Vijay Kannan to share his insights on positioning the manuscripts and structuring arguments to navigate through the complex reviewing rounds. The Seminar is open to all scholars, from PhD students to faculuty, to come and discuss their experience.
About presenter (short bio)
Vijay R. Kannan is Professor Emeritus in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, Utah State University, USA. Professor Kannan obtained a bachelor’s degree in management sciences from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and attended graduate school in the U.S., earning an MBA from Indiana University with emphases in Finance and Decision Sciences, and Ph.D. in Operations Management from Michigan State University. Professor Kannan is the author of 45 journal publications and a textbook on operations and supply chain management, and the editor of volumes on Strategic Management and International Business. He served as editor of the Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, and as Associate Editor for the Journal of Supply Chain Management and Decision Sciences Journal. He is a two-time recipient of Fulbright awards, and a Past President of the Decision Sciences Institute.

This seminar series is part of the E-PhD Program at National Economics University. It targets PhD students, early-career researchers, and senior faculty who find interested in doing research in the areas of economics, business, management, and other inter-disciplinary fields of social science. The series is a platform for the wider research community to exchange ideas, networks and collaborations.
