In anticipation of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day on November 20th, the National Economics University Trade Union organized a comprehensive sports festival for all staff, faculty, and employees throughout the university. This festival provided an excellent opportunity for NEU union members to strengthen their physical fitness, create a healthy and enjoyable recreational environment, foster meaningful connections, and promote the spirit of physical education and sports across the entire university community.

The opening ceremony was graced by distinguished attendees who came to support and encourage the competing teams, including: Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong – Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Dong – Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Trade Union; along with representatives from leadership of various Schools, Departments, Faculties, Institutes, and Centers; university staff and employees, and most importantly, the athletes participating in the sports festival.

This year, the affiliated units were organized into 6 clusters, competing in 3 sporting events: Tug of War, Jump Rope, and Relay Race with Ball Throwing. The festival this year proved to be a vibrant and colorful competition that attracted widespread participation from staff, faculty, and employees from various units, both as competitors and enthusiastic supporters.

This healthy and beneficial recreational platform provided staff, faculty, and employees currently working at the university with valuable opportunities for interaction, fostering stronger bonds between different units and union members, while simultaneously promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports throughout the entire university.
