On the afternoon of July 5, 2024, the Institute for Sustainable Development organized a Research Proposal Review Session for 5th cohort doctoral students in the E-PhD Program at room 1501, Building A1, National Economics University..

The Research Proposal Review Session for doctoral students was attended by members of the program's academic committee, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Canh, Prof. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bach Ngoc Thang from the Institute for Sustainable Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Hung from the Institute of Trade and International Economics; and prospective supervisors Dr. Le Thi Thu Mai, Dr. Le Thuy Huong, and Dr. Nguyen Hoang Linh from the Faculty of Marketing, as well as Dr. Pham Lan Huong from the Faculty of Real Estate and Resource Economics. The session also included the participation of 5th cohort doctoral students who presented their proposals.
Opening the review session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bach Ngoc Thang welcomed and thanked the faculty members and doctoral students currently enrolled in the E-PhD Program for attending the Research Proposal Review Session. This research proposal presentation is mandatory for each doctoral student and serves to inform decisions regarding dissertation topic assignment and supervisor allocation.
Subsequently, Assoc. Prof. Thang outlined the presentation order and specific regulations for the doctoral students. Each student was allocated a maximum of 30 minutes to present their research proposal's key issues and main content using slides, including (but not limited to): research problems/gaps and research questions, theoretical and empirical literature review, research hypotheses, data, research methodology, novelty/contributions, and research significance. This was followed by a question-and-answer session with feedback from academic committee members and prospective supervisors.

The research proposals received extensive feedback from faculty members on the academic committee. These contributions represent valuable input for the process of refining research proposals and making decisions regarding topic assignment and supervisor allocation.
