Functions and Duties
I. Functions
Conducting academic research in Economics, Management, Business Administration, and other related fields of sustainable development; implementing cooperation activities with international partners in research and publication;
Delivering postgraduate training according to projects and tasks assigned by the Rector; organizing short-term training courses based on the demand of the society;
Providing consulting and science and technology services in accordance with the law.
II. Duties
- Implement scientific research and publishing cooperation programs with international partners;
- Coordinate with departments and faculties at NEU and other agencies to implement joint postgraduate training and short-term training programs in Economics, Management, Business Administration;
- Consult activities in economics, business management and administration and other related fields of the government, enterprises, local non-governmental organizations and countries; Provide scientific evidence and recommend the implementation of scientific research results in economic, management, business administration, and sustainable development activities.
- Collect, process, analyse, store, and provide domestic and foreign scientific information and documents in Economics, Management and Business Administration and other related fields;
- Participate in training through teaching subjects, and other topics in Economics, Management and Business Administration as well as related fields;
- Build master’s and doctoral training programs in Economics, Management, Business Administration and other related subjects;
- Develop, manage and preserve the Institute’s scientific documents according to the current regulations, in accordance with the requirements of international partners;
- Cooperate, exchange and implement aid projects of international partners, organizations within the framework of international cooperation programs and plans on research in Economic, Management, Business Administration and other related fields;
- Propose to the University the reward of valuable scientific researches in Economics, Management and Business Administration;
- Manage the contingent of cadres, civil servants, manage the Institute’s finances and assets according to current regulations of the State and working regulations of the School;
- Perform other duties assigned by the Rector.
III. Scope of work
Cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations, focusing on:
3.1. Conducting scientific research in Economics, Management, Business Administration, and related fields of sustainable development;
3.2. Deliver postgraduate training in Economics, Management, and Business Administration;
3.3. Organize short-term training courses in Economics, Management, Business Administration and other related fields of sustainable development.
